GOALS of DJChoppercat BLOG

This example of a video is not as much about what is onscreen but the soundtrack. My goal is to broadcast an extended mix you might want on mp3 for repeat listenings. Of course, you can save the video to your desktop and extract the soundtrack as an mp3.

AM having technical difficulties with my internet connection recently and it is delaying these projects

WICKED GAME the VIDEO

Music video

The music video of the song was directed by Herb Ritts and featured top model Helena Christensen rolling on the beach with Isaak. It was shot in black and white. Both Christensen and Isaak were topless through most of the video, although clever camera angles concealed any actual nudity. Viewers still reacted to Christensen's sexually suggestive performance, and the video was later featured on MTV's Sexiest Video of All-Time countdown.[citation needed] The video won the MTV Video Music Awards for Best Male Video, Best Cinematography and Best Video from a Film. A previous version of the video was commissioned for the Wild at Heart soundtrack, and was directed by David Lynch.[1]

The video was ranked #13 on VH1's 100 Greatest Videos and was also ranked #4 on VH1's 50 Sexiest Video Moments. The video was ranked #73 on Rolling Stone magazine's "The 100 Top Music Videos".

In 1981, Ritts took photos for the album cover of Olivia Newton-John's Physical. He started his long term collaboration with Madonna in 1984, when he shot the ad for her movie Desperately Seeking Susan.

In 1984, he photographed Eagles drummer and vocalist Don Henley for his second solo album Building the Perfect Beast.

In 1986, Ritts shot the cover photo of Madonna's True Blue album. He later ventured into the world of music video at a suggestion of Madonna and filmed her video "Cherish". In 1988, he photographed Steve Winwood for his Roll With It album. In 1989, he photographed Belinda Carlisle for her Runaway Horses album.

He photographed Cindy Crawford for the July 1988, and October 1998 issues of Playboy.

Ritts proved himself to be successful in directing music videos. In 1991 two of these, Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" and Janet Jackson's "Love Will Never Do (Without You)", won MTV Video Music Awards. He co-directed Michael Jackson's "In the Closet" video which featured supermodel Naomi Campbell. He also directed videos for Mariah Carey's "My All", Chris Isaak's "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing", Britney Spears' "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know", Jennifer Lopez's "Ain't It Funny" and Shakira's "Underneath Your Clothes", the latter was completed shortly before his death.

He died in Los Angeles from pneumonia-related complications. He was HIV-positive.[3] He was survived by his partner Erik Hyman.

Ritts' final published photographs were those of actor Ben Affleck in Vanity Fair magazine.

READ MY MIND

It may be two years or more since this video had it's debut but it is one of my all time favorites. THE KILLERs - Read my MIND.

This Blog is still UNDER CONSTRUCTION

While testing all the new Microsoft applications and useability structures like their SKYDRIVE file storage, I am making blog entries to this site with WINDOWS LIVE WRITER blogging software. I am in my own BETA phase so I have no explanation for the music in the video I made using Atomix VIRTUAL DJ PRO v.5. This is a test to see if the file format work in the blogger writing app and on site.

THE MUSIC file contains several SINGLE tracks that DJChoppercat [me] remixed including Santana, Paul Oakenfold, Moulin Rouge and more.

PWEI : DEF CON ONE by Pop Will Eat Itself

In the late 1980s this outrageous electronic group graced the international scene with the track, "Ich Bin Ein Auslander". Two years later, they reached the shores of mainstream alternative radio in the United States with this beloved Club Classic.

Wish I knew more than was there in the clubs when this track was blistering on the dance floor like a semi-punk Disco anthem.

PURR n SAMPLE XP SP# 5503 & IE8.1

del.icio.us Tags: ,,,,

I am on my third install of XP to my one year old computer. As much as I avoided WINDOWS, Microsoft and MSN in the past, I have learned much this third round. The sequence in which I should apply updates, install NET frameworks, ActiveX and more led me to this weeks discovery of MSN creations for XP and VISTA. This includes SP3 BUILD 5503 for XP, and adding a 90 day trial of LIVE ONE CARE. Also installed, LIVE WRITER and tools. SO here we are at the beginning of my MSN learning curve.

I really want to explore the tools for broadcasting the action on my desktop LIVE, creating DJChoppercat mixes in VIDEO format and embedding these in site and blog entries, as well as better storage of my media online for creativity and back up.

I will use this entry to experiment with adding a VIDEO and some other features without any preset goal of defining the MIX or media at the moment.
