Something that we could learn when searching for songs seems to be reserved for superior web -savvy searchers of music..it is a cultural phenomenon known as a mp3blog or mp3 blog.

This post and group is here to share the knowledge. Eventually if you read the posts, not only will you find good music but learn what websites, desktop tools, and more can make searching fun, fast and in large quantities hopefully quality music, too.

mp3blog is a great search keyword. mp3 blog is another option.

Wikipedia has a chapter about the evolution of the mp3 blog. Google has custom search engines and Google blog search.

Website aggregator or collections exist to find large libraries of songs.

PHENOMENON mp3 blogging grabber

 

The following is a demonstration of download freeware [a subscription deal is available, too.] Internet Download Manager. Click on image above to visit site.

IDM has the ability to download any file practically and as a DJ and music enthusiast it is dependable for ripping mass quantities of mp3s and videos off of mp3 blogs and other sites.

It is a PC based script for downloading that replaces the download script on a WINDOWS platform. The script for downloading on WINDOWS is written into Internet Explorer. Don't panic. If you install IDM and decide not to use it then just uninstall and your PC will be restored to previous download script. There is a plug-in for Mozilla browsers Firefox and Flock. It does not work in Google Chrome which has it's own native download script.

There is an art to downloading music and you got to be web savvy and so I will assume you are up to the language on the internet.
I am DJ Choppercat and discuss this and music in my blog. SO here are my tips.
1. Learn to search the term 'mp3blog' at google or other search engines.
2. Visit hypem.com that is a mp3blog aggregator [it collates data from
thousands of sources and then re-formats it into a playlist for the
website.]
~ each track listed at hypem.com will have an url to visit the hypem.com
version of the original blog post. You want the next link which should
not include hypem.com in the url. It will often be a blogspot.com blog or
another.
~ This link will take you especially to the original post of the mp3 in a
blog. Until this year, most mp3blogs would have a link to immediately
click and begin dowloading. Most blogs now use rapidshare.com or
another host requiring another link you visit, enter captcha pass
phrase and then download will begin and some sites ask you to
register.
~ use a mozilla browser, preferably FLOCK but boring firefox can do because you want to go to mozilla.com and attach these add-ons to 'mine and grab' the files in bulk even if the page has each mp3 listed with a file share like rapidfire. The keywords to add-ons that you want are RSFind and DOWNLOADTHEM ALL. Set up each one from options to search for .mp3 files on a page.
~ There is another add-on that appears to have nothing to do with this at first but creates a tiny FLASH object in your mozilla browser's bottom tool bar. When you are on a page with mp3's, it will tell you how many are on the page. At an mp3 blog that you visit, it is not uncommon for the number to be 143 or 43 or 67. Let's you know you hit the JACKPOT. It is called YOUR MINIS HUD at mozilla.com add-ons.
3. Skip LiMEWIRE if you want to keep your computer clean. Use a newsgroup through your POP or IMAP email client. If you only use web-based email, you can visit GOOGLE GROUPS and find many newsgroups in a 'google web version'. Search Google groups keyword 'mp3' and 'mp3blog'.
4. For a measley 14.00 a month, join USENEXT.com. I download one thousand songs a month from them and that is at the cost of purchasing one CD from ViRgin Atlantic or wherever. Usenext.com is probably the most variety of versions and remixes of current songs that I can possibly find.
5. Subscribe for a 30-day free trial to XM Radio and find your format and listen to their station. Visit the station website and get the twice-monthly chart TOP 50. Save a copy and search from it when you are looking up tracks on hypem.com or usenext.com.

A FLOCK of Beta Browsers for Mac, Linux and Windows

Could a Google Notebook writer on mac or linux beta test FLOCK?

   I am a FLOCKSTAR and test beta available from http://flock.com until recent exchanges by Community Ambassadors from Flock. I was asked to visit a link and test a BETA still underground, so to speak.

KICKS YOUR PUNY BROWSER BOOTIES ASS THE next several blogs will highlight Mozilla add-ons for use in FIREFOX and FLOCK that assist in mining music and building a DJs base of operations on your PC desktop.

 

• START with information when mp3blog page loads that tells how many mp3s are available for download.
• Bookmark for return reference using main tag Mp3Blog.
• Each mp3 blog will usually be defined by musical style i.e. house, techno, electro, progressive, trance and so be generous with additional tags in bookmarks.
• RIP the page of its numerous mp3s and download to desktop or storage device.
• FIND a good RSS READER and subscribe to blogs.

YOU WILL NEED the right tools to do

these things and here are some of

those from MOZILLA ADD ONS [google it]. 

AT THE MOZILLA SITE: search for these four add ons by name.

1. THUMBSTRIPS - records one screenshot of each page you visit during a browser session and the ThumbStrip can be saved. Visual bookmarks.
2. MINI Hud - a small icon in the bottom of the browser flashes at each webpage and if there are RSS FEEDS, CONTACTS or mp3s the flash counts and tells you.
3. DOWNLOAD THEM ALL - name says it all; images, html, video, mp3s, flash and more can be downloaded from a page in bulk.
4. DOWNLOAD Status Bar - replaces the usual pop-up window in browser with a colored customizable bar on top of browser's bottom bar and streams the download progress. Options to clear, open or save download with each ticker.

Quantity and file types and easy to track status is met with ADD ONs from Mozilla. These work in both FLOCK and Firefox.

GRAB THE BULL by the HORNS

This morning I played my first definitive set in a chat room that engaged me as a DJ after having completed the web room's application. Late last week, the tools were tested with a room's administrator making sure that my sound card supplies the output sound, handles a microphone and my internet connection maintains a steady streaming broadcast.

This morning, I grabbed the bull by the horns after rehearsing out some of the trial sounds and mixes for the past week with the many new songs downloaded to my queue.

Recently, I have been looking for the same features that all the social networks have mixed with a heady dose of porn. This is straight porn as far as I searched.

Here is a site showing videos from up to 10 major internet providers of porn films both studio and viewer uploaded. The sites include megarotic, youporn, redtube, porno tube and more.

WRITER MP3Blogs and VISTA CONS

Starting today for several new posts the theme is BLOGGER TOOLS. Since installing and upgrading my PC to VISTA, I began to explore the new online world of Microsoft and this includes LIVE WRITER with immense amounts of plug-ins.

 

I will use a plug-in and post the identity of the plug in and link, as well. 

• THE FIRST Plug--in is called RELATED POSTS and requires a de.lic.io.us Bookmark account and Microsoft NET Framework 3.5 on your PC. I believe if I enter a tag from my account, a list of bookmarks will appear and from this I can select one, some or all and PASTE into my blog.
